Adjuvant in the antiparasitic treatment of horses
Dosage and administration:
Give
- 250 lb: 7.5 cc
- 500 lb: 15 cc
- 750 lb: 22.5 cc
- 1000 lb: 30 cc
For foals and weanlings (less than 18 months of age) where ascarids are a common problem, the recommended dose is 4.6 mg/lb (10 mg/kg); 25cc will deworm a 550 lb horse.
For the control of large strongyles, small strongyles, and pinworms, the recommended dose is 2.3 mg/lb (5 mg/kg). 25cc will deworm a 1,100 lb horse.
